Joanna To
Joanna To is a Registered Expressive Arts Therapist, approved supervisor, and a Honorary Lecturer at the University of Hong Kong. She is also a MARI® practitioner, Certified Zentangle Teacher and Pastel-Nagomi Art Instructor. She is passionate in integrating Chinese arts and mindfulness practices under the domain of expressive arts therapy.
She has worked with different populations in local and international schools, Corporations, NGOs, youth centres and elderly homes. She would love to promote Expressive Arts Therapy to the general public in cultivating personal growth and holistic health.
Joanna is born and raised in Hong Kong with exposure to work with people from around the globe. In her first career, she had been a Marketing and Communications professional with Fortune 500 companies such as United Parcel Services and Newell Brands. In 2013, she was determined to pursue her second career in Expressive Arts Therapy. Prior to establishing Arts for Change, she worked for the Tsz Shan Monastery and Changing Young Lives Foundation in developing Expressive Arts Therapy programs and events for youth, professionals and the general public. She has been actively supporting professional associations in promoting the therapeutic use of arts in Hong Kong and across the Asia-Pacific region.
