"Pastel Nagomi Art" combines the gentle and warm tones of pastel materials to create drawings with hope and harmony. The creative process applies simple and unique technique of powdering pastel and drawing with your fingers. This is a brand new sensory and drawing experience to cultivate positive energy.

Workshops are facilitated by Joanna To, Certified Pastel-Nagomi-Art Teacher with first hand learning from Hosoya Sensei and Ms Laura Liu.

  1. Experiential Workshops (Adult or Parent-child)

Experiential workshops offer a different drawing experience with your fingers to connect with your body and mind. You do not need to be puzzled about any certification stress but just enjoy the process of drawing. You can also join the parent-child workshop to experience a different way to communicate with your child through the creative process.

Target:Aged 18 or above (NO pre-requisite on drawing skills)
Language:Cantonese or English
Duration: 2 hours
Date: Private or group (minimum 2 pax) make up class by appointment

Experiential Workshop (Parent-Child)
Target:Parent and child aged 6 to 12 (NO pre-requisite on drawing skills)
Language:Cantonese or English
Duration: 2 hours

2. Associate Instructor’s Training

Participants are required to complete 18-20 pieces of artwork to learn the required skills and principles in 3 days subject to their own pace. In order to apply for Associate Instructor, participants are required to provide 3 pieces of own drawings and answer short questions upon completion of programme. Certificates are issued by JPHAA directly. Certified Associate Instructors are eligible to teach experiential classes.

Time: 10:00am-6:00pm (3-Day) 或 10:00am-2:00pm (6 Mornings)

3. Advanced Instructor’s Training

The next level is to become an Advanced Instructor through attend one day programme to create 4 more complicated artworks. Upon receiving the certificate from JPHAA, Advanced Instructors are eligible to each the Associate Instructor's programme and apply certificates for their students.

Series A - The journey of water demonstrate 4 drawings including the sky, the river, the flower and the sea. Let's experience the journey of water, should it be a happy tear or sad tear's journey.

Series J - Beautiful sportsmanship demonstrate 4 drawings including Friendship, Fair-play, Respect & Thanks, and Revival & Restart. Let's learn the beautiful sportsmanship concepts from Hosoya Sensei.
