MARI® is the solution.

MARI®, Mandala Assessment Research Instrument, is a research-based tool using symbols and colour to explore what is going on with our psychological and emotional state in relation to our developmental stages at the present moment. MARI® is based on the Jungian approach and formulated by Art Therapist, Joan Kellogg. Our MARI® partitioner, Joanna, will explore with your talent, his/her passion and strengths at work, identify the development strategy in order to reach a fuller potential.

Joanna is a Registered Expressive Arts Therapist. She first learnt about mandala when she was studying in the Master of Expressive Arts Therapy Program at the University of Hong Kong in 2013. She was deeply interested in the study of mandala and became a MARI® Certified Practitioner in 2021. There are only a few qualified practitioners in Hong Kong.

What we do?

In the individual session, client is invited to create a free drawing with a circle, mandala (Sanskrit for circle). Besides reviewing the drawn mandala and exploring meanings, he/she will pick symbol cards, match with colours and visualise his/her choice of cards on the MARI board, the Great Round. Our certified MARI® practitioner will walk client through the process, explore the meaning from the drawn mandala, and the readings from the symbols and colour client have picked.
